At AV Trinity, we pride ourselves on being more than just a team; we are a family. This year, one of our valued colleagues and friends, Amber, faced an immense challenge when she was diagnosed with breast cancer, aged just 26, four weeks before her 27th birthday.

Over the past six months, Amber's journey has not only touched us but also the entire community. Her resilience, positivity, and unwavering optimism have become a source of inspiration for our office and countless others.

From wearing her wig in public for the first time to embracing the scars that mark her journey, Amber's posts have become a source of comfort and solidarity for many.

Finding strength through support.

Amber's journey has been supported by the fantastic team at the Pickering Cancer Drop-In Centre in Tunbridge Wells. This centre has been a cornerstone of comfort for Amber, particularly during the early days of her diagnosis when she faced the trauma of losing her hair after starting chemotherapy. The centre's support has been instrumental in Amber's journey, offering her a safe, welcoming space where she can find understanding, empathy, and camaraderie among others who share similar experiences.
