Karen says – “ In my view I have one of the best jobs going – dealing with people on a very personal basis, and using my financial knowledge and skills in a highly positive way. There aren’t too many other professions that offer this combination. Outside of the office, I like to be outside!  Gardening, although I lack any real knowledge, and walking, are my favoutite pursuits and reading political memoirs is something of an obsession! Raising money in creative ways for a number of charities is something that I find enormously satisfying.  I have also started regular visits to a local Barchester care home with one of my dogs, Finn, who has recently qualified as a Pets As Therapy (PAT) dog”
