Following a ruling by the European Court of Justice, with effect from 21st Dec
2012, insurers will no longer be able to take gender into account when pricing
insurance policies and annuities.

The press has reported this change but has not really addressed the wider impact –
this is not just about annuities!

Some individuals (males) might well be advised to take advice now.
